Dana Sabbah is a visual artist who heavily immerses in the feel of colours. She uses her hands to paint intuitively, play,s and indulges with the connection to her artwork. It is through this whole process she expresses her emotions, joys, pains, hopes, and anxieties, and gains new understandings of life. It is through this process she feels most connected, joyful, satisfied, and liberated.

Her personal self-growth journey through art has inspired her work and sparked the keenness to support others in their journeys. She is a compassionate community-engaged practitioner with profound experience in multicultural non-for-profit projects. Following her passion, she pursued her studies in “Arts Education and Community Engagement” at Centennial College, Canada. During this time, she developed community art programs, assessment frameworks and facilitated workshops for vulnerable communities.

She is also a member of the Executive Advisory Board at BAM (Books. Art. Music) Collective.

Intuition, empowerment, and self-realization are foundational values that she holds in her work. She works with vulnerable communities and uses art as a tool to revisit cultural values and personal experiences. Art for her is a tool for self-expression. The intuitive process of creating a piece of art is one of the puzzle pieces that reflect our stories, who we are, and how we evolve.
